Before measuring your RMR with Fitmate make sure that you comply with the following conditions:

  • No food or any beverages (tea, coffee…)  less than 4 hours prior to the measurement
  • No smoking less than 4 hours prior to the measurement
  • No caffeine, ephedrine consumption less than 4 hours prior to the measurement
  • Not to  work out for at least 8 hours before the measurement

For greater accuracy make sure  to  comply with the following conditions:

  • No alcohol  less than 12 hours prior to the measurement
  • No vigorous exercise less than 12 hours before the measurement
